This is some good stuff, and I'm not easily impressed. I really do like the way you're bringing out your MC's discovery of this part of himself that he didn't know about, with his ambivalence and struggle with it. I can identify; I had to make peace with zoophilia myself, and had part of myself in a closet for some time.




As to how graphic you should get ... I say trust your instinct; it's serving you well so far.
