Monogamy or Polygamy or...?

I voted Polygamous.  I have two im in love with (one human, one jenny) but several other i care for and are intimate with once in a while.  Ive also had relations outside my own critters on occasion.

If I was in a relationship, I'd likely be monogamous by virtue of the fact I don't need a lot of attention.

I want so badly enjoy every moment/second/day/month/year/decades with my wife mare, shes my everything, id a baby filly with her via A.I and... as i was her first and only stud, we started a herd... my equine family.

What a beautiful mare!  I'm so glad you found each other.  I think it's wonderful that we can form relationships like this regardless of species.  It's one of the few things that give me any hope for humans in general.

For me, I'm still indecisive about the matter. On one hand, I do feel the urge to at least "sample" a few different species of lovers before I decide whom I clicked with the best. But that's just the porn hound in me talking... I know firsthand that actually being in love can twist your priorities significantly, so who knows, if I found a mare that I could regularly spend a lot of time with and we clicked together really well, I think she could cover my needs really well on her own really.


But if I were to settle with another human (either a zoo or zoo-tolerant individual), I'd want it to be a relationship that's open only for non-humans. Like we'd have a farm together, and we'd take care of our animal lover(s) mutually. I believe that animals bring the unique opportunity to cover all of the thrills of a polygamous relationship without the inevitable risk of drama stemming from inviting a third human into it (your wife won't suddenly decide that she has better prospects for life with Rover alone, and pick up and leave with him... or will she? :P).
