Would you choose another species to be attracted to?
#31

I'm another who given the choice would choose humans. I am only in my mid 30s and already in my life I've had to say goodbye to 4 dogs that I loved dearly - one just a few weeks ago. The lifespan is the heaviest burden to carry. Beyond that though there are the other issues that come with love that isn't socially acceptable and illegal in most places.

Reverse positions, and I'll go with that.  Whoever makes the best appeal, or is looking most sexy this morning.

This is something I agree with !

I would.

I wish I could look at a dog and fall head over heels in love with them. If I were primarily attracted to dogs, it would make everything so much easier. But it seems that it would be hard to form any kind of emotional connection with a dog. I want to be like most zoos and talk about how canines are sexy and the meaning of life.

It really sucks being a horse zoo.

Well, dogs are gonna have to be my main attraction because I don't know about owning a horse. Lucky me, I am attracted to dogs too. Not all hope is lost. If only I could slap my former self and tell him how ridiculous he was...

You're making great strides, coming to terms with yourself.

In the right situation you might consider a mini-horse.....

Yeah, but mini horses aren't usually allowed on rented properties, unfortunately. Dogs are just more practical. I'd be better off getting a husky or other medium-sized dog for now. Of course, after I can find a steady source of income.

Sadly over the years of being zoo I would actually choose to be "normal" and into people. From a practical point of view not being zoo exclusive does make your life a lot more convenient and simple. Less stress, less fear, more secure.

I find the opposite.  Too damn much drama where humans are involved.  Deceit, manipulation, dishonesty.

One of the most attractive aspects of animals is their honesty and sincerity.  Humans tend to be neither, usually having some ulterior motive or other.

That is sometimes or maybe even often true. But the life of a zoophile is a somewhat lonely and stressed one. Once you get your own animal you risk loosing him/her if you make a mistake. You constantly have to hide this part of your life from nearly everybody. Making friends inside the zoo community is difficult because of the inherent secrecy. You loose your partners several times over your life and a good portion of your surroundings do not even give a fuck about that (it is just a dog you know). Being outed basically makes you a public enemy and mostly prevents you from ever having an animal again. And being inside the community means that you will be dealing with half witted fetishists 90% of the time (in some places). It is tiring.

Most of what you said is true.  It depends on if you care about it or not.  If you are an extrovert that thrives on human attention then it's going to be lonely and stressful.  If you rather prefer a mostly solitary (from humans) existence then it's satisfying.  I prefer the company of animals, sexual or not.   I spend time daily sitting on a bucket playing with the baby lambs.  I would rather sit on the floor with dogs than talk with humans.  Yes they live way too damn short lives; WTF is up with that?  Is it a conspiracy by puppy mills for replacement sales?  Still, I'd rather have known the dogs/horses I have known than to have spent the same time/relationships with humans.  Personal observation is that human relationships seldom last longer than a dog lives anyway, and end with as much longer lasting grief and hostility.  And yeah it's secrecy, WTFH is up with people wanting to "social media" about it?  Do normal straight humans have to go blatting about their sex life on the 'net?  Someone walks up in the grocery and says "This is my wife, I humped her silly this morning"?  So look lovingly at your dog, shift your jeans, and MYOB.  Why the need to go public to be happy?  If you are young then yes this is the only way you know of it having been, the days are gone when you could do the deed outdoors, and if you got caught the only consequence was crude jokes and animal noises when you walked by.  But the world in general is different now, hiding everything you do is much more important in everything than it used to be.  Going through a green light too slow can get you shot.  People can track you down from your phone if you look crooked at someone.  Or maybe they don't like your DNA.  So how different is it that you go inside and close the blinds and lock the door?  That's what people do these days.

And yeah.  ZV is full of the same awful people that used to hang around BF and post psychopathic content on the dark web.  Convicted pedos pretending to care about animals.  And pervs who just want to see women degraded.  So, ya'know, porn addicts.  Click the little button in the top left of the browser window--

End of rant.  G'day.
