A project in planning for Zoophilia resources / info.
#11

I have been scoping out Matrix for awhile now, in regards to what it is you wish to build. Having spent a very long time on various platforms, you're going to have success and failure on a few but in different ways. Here is what I have found.

1. All protocol sites, telegram, discord, Matrix, are private. If you are looking to enhance zoo positivity or just be a voice for the community in general, I'm 100% on board with it. And, you're going to need a space with granular privacy controls to do it on. With public level capability, but not necessarily, access.

2. Not sure how far you got along in your project. But one thing that stands out to me, is the fact that you will need to target audience demographics. On a platform level, people would be more familiar with something like Mastodon for communication because of short posts with media being a very common theme in younger people communications. I know that won't work for the foundation, but keep in mind, the attention span of support has to be on point with their role to play.

3. You're not the only one to use this place as a literal reference point or inspiration for a zoo site. Zooville, Zoo Community and a few others reference here frequently. The problem with their sites, are that it acts more like a game or a porn channel than it does a real education center. Even with the wiki, you have to get real deep with specific keyword searches to only go on and find forum posts about what people said on something half hazard like added to pages. Not a truly reformed and structured article about who we are. So why are you, different?

4. What zoophiles need, are all the protections the LGBT community has. I mean in real life, you don't go around saying you insert crime here with your partner. That's how most non zoos see us. And even some furry therian types as well. The number one deterrent to this problem, will be non zoo videos - like a documentary series about how we treat our animals or companions in real life outside of the bedroom. Look up Girl With The Dogs channel on YouTube, you will know what I'm talking about. We can come out of the closet saying we are a rebranded animal lover, and it would have more effect to the uninitiated than saying we're zoo as that term is way too popular. We need to do what the  gays did, and integrate into society by our actions. So when people see the word zoo, they think of all the (then posted) videos and footage of the new wave of animal lovers that came on the seen to show what they mean by heart.

5. Zoo exclusive entertainment shows at this time, can't help us win a campaign. I hate to say it, but I find most of them to be toxic when referencing certain posts about who someone is, or is not, beyond what it necessary. This is exactly what the educational potential of Zooier Than Thou has sadly become. You can get presenters, but they must talk more than opinion pieces to really have some weight to their words if they were ever to be taken seriously for their audience demographic. I feel like a cartoon character every time they put something on. It does not speak to me as an animal lover first. It's something that deeply is concerning, with platforms, you have to speak to a lot of people who went off grid. They're not 5 years old living in their mom's basement, which a lot of these show portray us as somehow. We are not furry. We are not Therian. We are zoo, with real pets, and real lives. The sooner we separate from those communities, the better.

6. We're adults, and we do what we want. Sometimes people get a little carried away with their actions, yet they are not people our identity speaks to either. All we have to show for our identity, is porn. The gay community has so much more going for it, that it can bond over the identity of a feature set that a popular porn site of theirs, Only Fans, makes to serve them. They're that tightly integrated into society, you can meme the hell out of something only that community knows, and not have it be censored by the deep state. So where is our unity? If it's many of us professionals living off grid, then we need to incorporate this into our daily lives. Not explain why, but what our strengths are because of it. Play to each person's unique strength in a given situation, and come to an agreement of why we are who makes us bond to all life forms on planet Earth. That's going to make us an identity stronger than any animal justice group could ever hope to pull off. Most of them are under funded, over paid corrupt individuals, who don't believe in responsible adult to animal ownership.

7. Have a mission beyond what the public sees in private communications. Twitter is recently going through a massive change over in staff, and that approach is working for a multi-billion dollar company. And, it can work with any serious project as well. Even if it only has 4 people in it. You can still compartmentalize importance, based on contribution and knowledge. Make a focus, and then build something around it to address said focus. Most people, don't want to join another forum. They want to be notified of real change happening if they are to rejoin another zoo project. I won't call it sites, because most are looking for you know what and it sickens me to no end that this is all we stand for because it's just one aspect to our daily lives. Is it even possible for your typical zoo to make a joke? And could it be possible for them to try? With what information could your average zoo use to do that with? And have someone get it right away. That's what's missing. A sense of community value that will always speak to us because we bonded with a living being on this planet who embraces this fully. Hint, animals see only their life in terms of a linear progression. Not something they can look back on. That's our job to mirror this in how we see our community. Let go of the hurt that speaks to those who need to recreate more memories to change it into love, healing and forgetting the pain a lack of it causes. That goes for humans and animals two. Because the voice that needs to be heard, is the one that rose above it all.

8. Show respect to the knowledge an animal owner must have, to properly, and I mean safely, take care of all, aspects of their well being. This isn't hard to do, since we know so much about how to treat their lives well as humans. The question remains, what level of comprehension will you strive for. How far are you willing to go to be a separate identity from the one we embrace as apart of our daily lives who spend serious time with animals? When others in their profession, farmers, vets, pet store owners, towns folk, groomers and distant acquaintances can all speak to your strength around your conduct with another living creature. That is the key that will unlock our potential, and set us free among the minds of the uneducated. It's time to stop thinking in terms of who has the best genitalia to bond with. That's gutter talk. It may be how we enjoy fun time together, it does not mean, that are all the fun times we want others to have with us including our own pets. How we view the world we live in, matters if we take a step back to appreciate the one we help to build and become attached to. Every soul counts in harmony, for all is well as means it.

9. We still live in a forest, even if it is to some people, a concrete jungle. Remember the oldest law among the trees. Don't let others define your own traditions. Know what will get you into less fights, while picking your battles out of survival instincts to better your chances at thriving. Competition is a toxic environment, so it should be the last to be taken into account when reaching for something thing big. Always have a dream ready to plan into being. This will ensure you  can achieve your goal, to be apart of a movement who parts of its membership can perhaps vouch for you to see if you add value to the core presence or not. And here's what I mean by that. Participation by inaction, does not count. Action through participation, does. It's the major reason why we have an identity at all. We got sold a promise back in the 20th century to become affiliated with porn stars. Now we have to sell another promise, to become affiliated with human acceptance. Otherwise, our days of living off grid will only seem to never end.

10. Ask yourself what others can take with them when they see your zoo project unfold. What strength will your community platform take with itself? That's how you know what to set up when approaching people who you have in mind to assist you in something. What actions will an outsider be able to take when your project is lifted off the ground. Many social media companies, allow for an outsider to destroy it if they feel it is too abnormal. What we need, is clear anonymity in a way that does not say, we have something to hide. While speaking to those of us, who have someone to protect. Then move on from there, all the while ensuring that the community platform you embrace, will be able to adapt its structure to find a higher vantage point of integration with new contributors. Every voice should be equal, if they represent the identity we embody and act upon in turn.

I am not aware of how far you have come with this project. I only know that you deserve to thrive with it in your own way, that has in some way, incorporated us as a whole in its acceptance and guardianship to who we are. I'd be honored to help with the execution of it in all fairness, if called upon to do so. I do wish you the best of success with your adventure. Lord only knows, we could do with a boost of good news. Ultimately we are stewards of the beasts of the land we occupy together.

Sorry, not for me.  I'm just going too off the grid to be of much use.  No way you are getting me on the phone or talking these days.  Good luck though.

This.  For me as well.

Fair enough, I appreciate the moral support none the less. /emoticons/[email protected] 2x" title=":)" width="20" />

Absolutely true. Really for the most part unless it's at the operating system level like Windows or Apple, your privacy is what you make of it really.

We aren't 'platforming' for communication, this is strictly for information transfer and relay.

We're not using this site as a reference. Merely to collect people and some bits of useful information.

Maybe as a mix-in, but the 'LGBT style marches' I doubt will really work anymore, the movement needs grass roots and a solid foundation, not a top-down or pure visibility movement.

I think I've covered most of the important ones here for now. I do appreciate the support, and of course we're carefully laying out some things, including something I've been working on that's cropped up out of necessity. It's large and is taking time to get right however.

So there will be more posted around when it's ready.

Well, you certainly have me on the edge of my seat. lol I look forward to what you are building. Not having much to go on, I will leave you with some of my final thoughts.

You seem to know what you need to work on for now. I hope that when it comes to fruition, it is everything you desire it to be for our community. I have seen many people come up with different ideas for what we need as a whole. This fragmentation gives us choice, but little else to work with apart from specific purpose platforms.

So long as people know what they can come back to on yours, it will be successful. Which, is all that matters.

We shall see, and if you do want to be a group member, let me know in DM and I can set you up. Right now though I'm still working on a project that kind of rose up after this one started.
