That's why its the only table game I will play in a Casino. To hell with Craps and Roulette

I figured if those three played well enough to get paid by the casino, they probably played better than me.   I would take 50 bucks and sit at the cheap blackjack table and stretch it out as long as possible.  Worth it for two - three hours' entertainment, and as long as you're betting, the drinks were free.  Worth it.
