Is there anybody there?
Is that eyes light just a game?
Can there be a love like ours?
Or have I simply gone insane?
Crazy I may be,
as your musk smell fills my head.
Madness in my soul,
while your body fills my bed.
But what of the love,
when lust is left behind?
Is it truly what you speak,
or simply in my mind?
So little of you I know,
though your body's' mine to hold.
Carnal knowledge in your fur,
proving just I once was bold.
You are just a dog they say,
though delicate and fine.
But it's you, no dog, I see,
and what I see is mine.
But can you feel love,
and thus in love you'd be?
Or is it use and training,
holding you to me?
I wonder as we snuggle,
behind the bedroom door.
But in the daylights stream,
I'm left guessing even more.
You look at me, your pupils grow.
Give a happy little bark.
Your tail, a silken flag, waves,
like we're going to the park.
So I guess it's my love that matters,
and in love with you I'll be.
Though I'll wonder to my dying day,
if that bark was you loving me...
