2000 z71 pickup

Thinking about selling my Truck for a fixer upper ... very low mileage highly maintained, near 80k miles, less then 100 miles on Goodrich all terrain tires. Like new paint now needs repainted.

A bit scorched from a neighbors brush fire that wind picked up turned into a forest fire that roared up the hill and singed my truck a bit before the fire department got it contained and kept it from reaching the house unfortunately the garage it was parked next too got also got a some fire damage.

With great fortune i only had liability insurance on the truck and home owners said unattached garage was NOT included in my coverage and wont be covered as well<a class="ipsAttachLink ipsAttachLink_image" href="https://zoowg.org/uploads/monthly_2019_05/100_0107.JPG.70a9a88e7773e1e2a7a7043cb057f050.JPG" data-fileid="3582">[Image: 100_0107.thumb.JPG.22ab77d815bb9848940d3f6df246cb17.JPG]</a><a class="ipsAttachLink ipsAttachLink_image" href="https://zoowg.org/uploads/monthly_2019_05/100_0105.JPG.52905dbad0bce92ca3c6f8f53c2787d9.JPG" data-fileid="3584">[Image: 100_0105.thumb.JPG.9e563924f7c27a83f4dfb676ffc078d4.JPG]</a><a class="ipsAttachLink ipsAttachLink_image" href="https://zoowg.org/uploads/monthly_2019_05/100_0106.JPG.5646d3a1480beda86188b1589bc00752.JPG" data-fileid="3585">[Image: 100_0106.thumb.JPG.b9b5496c300b22543a2c8e5767778c9a.JPG]</a>

I'm somewhat confused by this post...

If you are really trying to sell this, I have my doubts here is a good place.  I know about as much about automobiles as my dog knows about computers, but she looks rather rough.

GL, all the same.

it is called a joke ... scrab yard came and got it for what little metal value remains ... even the expensive aluminum rims are now nothing but puddles of aluminum which does have value to  the scrap yard.

Basically wanted to show folks how much damage a fire can do to a vehicle if you have never seen such before.

Thank god house is fine, and none of the critters got more then scared.

The neighbor's home-owner's or corporate liability will cover it if the Fire  Dept report lists the origin correctly.    Ask for a copy of the NFIRS.

I saw the humor. Good thing no-one was hurt.

Little duck tape, little WD-40, it'll be good as new......

4 of the high quality rattle cans to paint her nice and slick again .... not certain how to get that smell of smoke and burnt electrical wiring smell out of it ... but couple good rains and a nice breezy day should air her out nicely.

Unfortunately they are swearing they was in Florida and not here to start such a thing .... seems strange all the piles of brush they had scattered around was all burning good the day before ... guess an arsonist set fire to all the brush piles the day before, and the big one the day it caught the woods.

I figured it was a joke but I've assumed that before to the detriment of all, can't be too careful sometimes...
